About the book

A British romantic comedy set in the Limousin region of France.

Art teacher, Vicki Marchant, is stranded at the altar knee-deep in her absent fiancé’s gambling debts. After paying these off, she seizes her freedom and travels to France to paint. It’s her time. Nobody is going to get in the way of her ambition – definitely no men.

Vicki learns two things: some men are difficult to resist, and choosing the right one is not always easy.

Sexy French vet or smart English art dealer? Tough decision.

About the author

I write romantic fiction with a sense of humour and, sometimes, a sense of the ridiculous. Because we all know life and love aren't exactly how we'd like them to be.

When not writing, I love to cook and to read, I even read in the car (talking books) and have notched up countless unnecessary miles as a result.

I had the pleasure of meeting the author today at the Society of Authors meal and talk. She appears to be an enthusiastic and friendly person. The title of her book and summary are inviting. At present I have a pile of books to enjoy but I will be back to purchase.
