In an attempt to rescue Sabre, Tassin has rushed into danger, and she and Tarl have been taken prisoner. Their captor is a high king with odd ties to Myon Two, and Tassin discovers the truth behind Sabre’s origins. Sabre, however, is unable to cope with the myriad painful and illogical emotions brought on by losing the girl he loves, for he’s certain he’ll never see her again.
