It’s a wintry New Year’s Eve and after enduring frosty relations over the Christmas season, accountant Aislinn Pottle is hoping for a cosy and peaceful evening in with boyfriend Simeon.
But after yet another quarrel, Aislinn is unceremoniously thrown out of her own house and is forced to walk the dark streets of her snowy village alone.
Soon a fancy-dressed coachman Brendan rides to Aislinn's rescue and in a twinkling she finds herself sharing mugs of piping hot chocolate in a mansion kitchen on a cold winter’s night.
