Maggie is selected to study abroad but the hopes of her family are cruelly dashed after an encounter with Soyan the daughter of a wizard.  The great Igobo casts Maggie with a spell. One of the most feared tools of the wizard, a Hehe worm starts to control every aspect of her life. 
The worm becomes a part of her and any action she takes against it will be revisited on her. Killing this worm would mean killing herself. 
A roller coaster of events that follow on push their friendship to the limit.

Monica M Lee was born Zambia. She spent years in England and Sweden as a young woman. For the last 20 year she has taught in an international school in Africa. Monica enjoys writing, cooking and reading. A heart that Breaks the soil - is her first contemporary fiction novel. She now lives and works in Asia with her husband and children.
