About this book

In the summer of 1927, Lady Fitzhugh is found brutally murdered after her 80th birthday party. A young detective is assigned to the case.

While investigating he uncovers many dark secrets hidden in the family's past. As the bodies keep piling up, he must race against time to uncover the motive and also stop the killers.

Author's Notes

I always wanted to write a book set in 1920s England set in the English countryside. Dame Agatha Christie and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle were my inspiration to write this novel. It features a new detective and this is his first solo case without any help from his supervisor in London.
