Shannon Sonneveldt has almost 20 years experience in learning and development and through experience has learned best practices and the value of application and performance-based learning solutions. She has served as a facilitator, instructional designer, instructional design manager and project manager in the learning arena. For more than eight years Shannon has researched, designed, developed and facilitated virtual classroom learning solutions. She has trained both instructional designers and facilitators in multiple countries in both design and delivery of effective training in the virtual classroom. With design and delivery experience in traditional classroom training, virtual classroom training, web-based training and blended solutions, Shannon has experience across delivery method and subject matter as well as in performing learning needs analyses and measurement and evaluation techniques for learning solutions. She is routinely called on to serve as coach and mentor for designers and facilitators.
Shannon lives in Kansas and is always interested in hearing from readers or organizations interested in instructional design services, workshops for learning personnel, and/or speakers for learning conferences or workshops.
