My name is Sarah and I have lived in Manchester England my whole life. I have been interested in art for numerous years and I have drawn as a hobby since childhood. At first I drew traditionally but then as an adult I moved to digital art when I got my first drawing tablet and I haven't done traditional drawing since.
At the same time I was interested in writing. I enjoyed thinking of ideas and writing them down. Most of the time it was mainly character bios and story ideas though it never went much further than that. I joined many online roleplaying groups just for fun. The topics of these groups varied, some were based on games, films or books. Others were original ideas that were turned into a roleplay. I enjoyed collaborating with other like minded people in regards to story telling and character development.
Recently I had decided to write a story and develop it beyond ideas and a story plan. I was able to see it through to the end and I had decided to publish the book on Amazon which I did on the 16th September 2024 where it is available in both paperback and kindle.
Sirensong is the first book I have published and I hope to write and publish more books because I did enjoy the whole process even the most frustrating parts. However getting my work out there for people to read was worth the frustration.
