Richard Tavernaro has lived many lives. He spent twenty years as a commissioned officer in the United States Army before building careers as a special education teacher, high school counselor, psychologist, and film industry professional. He holds two earned doctorates — in psychology and educational leadership — along with a master’s degree in school counseling and multiple board certifications.
A seasoned traveler, he has explored more than forty countries across five continents, immersing himself in cultures far removed from the tourist trail. When not writing, he can be found underwater as a scuba diver, at the helm of a sailboat, or on the track with his endurance automotive racing team.
He lives as though the world is still largely unexplored — because, for him, it is.
