Rachel Ivan was born in London and her teenage years were spent in South India, at her grandmother's sprawling house opposite a scenic lake in Bangalore. An avid movie buff, Rachel also has a passion for travel and her dream has always been to spend time on a pristine sandy beach in the Maldives, something she hopes to fulfill one day.
She works in the UK Civil Service and lives in a leafy South London suburb with her family.
