ID-LIFE CRISIS OR JUST AN URGE TO WRITE?

Nigel started off his career as a police officer and fourteen years later found himself as a police detective solving some pretty serious crime. On leaving the police service, Nigel re-trained as a maths and science teacher, but ended up working in the NHS. Then came the ‘mid-life crisis,’ which saw him abandoning formal careers to do what he loved most… spending time behind the lens of a camera and thereafter he became a successful professional wedding & portrait photographer for several years, whilst at the same time his life-long urge to write was taking place. So developed Nigel's main love - writing. This together with a fascination for genealogical research, Welsh folklore and the history of Wales has resulted in what are now his four books published books: Gerald's War, Excalibur Reborn, Esmeralda's Talisman & Diary of a Schoolboy Cop.
