Nicole Ryan wrote this book during her second year of an M.D. program. Her previous training as an EMT, combined with her deeper understanding of anatomy and physiology from medical school, left her confused when friends and family would argue about reproductive rights. It turned out so much of what people said was simply inaccurate. She wrote this book to help keep everyone entertained while also making them just a little more informed.
Before medical school she worked as a content writer and essayist with published work on HuffPo, The Star Tribune, Folk Rebellion, ParentMap, mom.me, and more.
