Daymel J Garcia

Daymel Garcia, is a first-time children's book author from Orlando, Florida, and Cuban immigrant. Transitioning from game development to writing children's literature, Daymel's debut book, "Onion Boy," celebrates the importance of self-esteem when faced by the negativity of those around us. His stories reflect his own journey of learning self love and self acceptance at a later age. Filled with quirky character, and unique perspectives Daymel advocates for diversity in children's literature. Outside of writing, he enjoys volleyball, and taking dance classes. Excited to spread his message, Daymel looks forward to continuing his journey as a children's book author.
